New Emma

Do you know this feeling, when you finish something and then you look at it and think, something is not right, but you can't put your finger on what it is?

Emma is such a case.

I love all the dolls I make and each of them is a little different, like children.

Every time I walked by Emma I thought "She's cute with the big mane of curly hair, but she looks very different for some reason" She was standing for the last week, next to two of my new dolls (pictures will follow as soon as they have clothes) and then I knew....

It was her eyes! The distance between them and the size of her eyes didn't match her head ! I have no idea why it took me so long to clue in, but I'm glad I was able to fix it and now I really like her

I think it is quiet an improvement.

While I was at it, I made her some new pants and hairband as well. The red velour looks so nice with her top and dress.

There are some more pictures of Emma in the Etsy listing.
