Beauty/Schoen....

This was the view out of our window this morning. Isn't it beautiful?

In my opinion that makes it worthwhile getting up early for sure.

Last night I made this bread from the leftover pizza dough from Saturday.

The dough recipe is from the book

Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day

Very tasty!

Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day

Sehr lecker!

I also wanted to show you this picture of the evening sky a few days ago. The picture does ,of course, not due the actual look of the sky any justice, but the colors were just like that.

The sky over the lake looked like it was on fire and the clouds looked like smoke.

It was breath taking!

I did not have my other camera on me, otherwise I would have taken more pictures.

Have a wonderful day!

Habt einen schoenen Tag!

A piece of rainbow/ Ein Stueck Regenbogen

Looking out the window this morning I saw this piece of a rainbow

I don't think I have ever seen just a piece. Weird!

Komisch!

Oh and I took these pictures of a Brown or Cuban Anole

I'm also working on a ton of custom items.

Pictures will follow when they are done....

Skywatch Friday

It's spring here in Florida too and the trees that lost their leaves are starting to get new ones.

A lot of trees and bushes keep their leave all winter .

This winter was much colder and longer then the last couple of year we lived here, but now it is warming up and I'm sure we are back to hot and super sticky in no time!

SkyWatch Friday

This and that.../Dies und das....

This week has been dominated sofar by my husbands surgery, which involved a lot of driving back and forth to the hospital 1 1/2 hours away . He had day surgery and is doing well considering what was done. It's painfull of course and no fun at all. However it's done and I'm happy that he's ok! :0)

And now I want to show you a few things I got yesterday.

This cute mushroom birdhouse is about 8 inches tall.

I love it!!!!

I also got this pretty milk pitcher.

:0)
This is what the sky looked like this afternoon...

So hat der Himmel heute Nachmittag ausgesehen...

....and this weird cloud pattern was visible a few hours later.

There is a lot of action going on in the sky today.

Looks like the wind up there is whipping things up in little bursts.
I saw even better examples a bit earlier when I was on my way to the store,

but didn't have my camera with me.

I really start to think that I should bring it everywhere.

That almost looks like a spiral.

Das sieht fast wie eine Spirale aus

Morning Sky/ Morgen Himmel

Look at that sky !

That's what it looked like at 6:00am

Isn't it gorgeous?

I love to start a day like that.

Guckt euch mal dieses Himmel an!

So sah er um 6:00Uhr aus.

Ist das nicht wunderschoen?

Ich liebe es den Tag so anzufangen.

:0)
