In one week.../In einer Woche...

In a week from today I will be traveling to my hometown,near Hamburg in Germany .

I'm so excited!!!

My mom has a special birthday and I will be there to celebrate with her.

This is the first time that I go by myself since I left Germany 16 years ago.

I'm really looking forward to spend quality time with my mom.

Yeah! :0)

I'm counting the days.......

Heute in einer Woche werde ich auf dem Weg nach Deutschland , in meine Heimatstadt in der Nähe von Hamburg sein.
Ich freu mich schon soooo doll!
Meine Mutti hat einen sehr speziellen Geburtstag und ich werde auch da sein um mit ihr zu feiern!
Dies ist auch das erste Mal das ich ganz alleine nach Deutschland fliege seit ich vor 16 Jahren ausgewandert bin. Ich freu mich schon auf die schöne , intensive Zeit mit meiner Mutti!! “Freu “Ich zähl schon die Tage….

I still have a lot of work to do until I go.

30 Mini Baby bodies are sewn sofar and more are in the works.

I 'm also working on more owls and mermaids.

Christmas is coming and I will be in Germany for two weeks so I try to get a lot done before.

Bis dahin habe ich allerdings auch noch einiges zu tun.
Bisher habe ich schon 30 Mini Baby Körperchen genäht und teilweise gestopft.

Ich arbeite ausserdem auch noch an Eulen und kleinen Meerjungfrauen.
Da ich 2 Wochen in Deutschland sein werde und dann schon recht bald Weihnachten ist, möchte ich doch so viel wie möglich fertig haben oder wenigstens angefangen haben.

I wanted to make a mermaid for a long time now.

So here she is .

Ich wollte schon seit langen eine Seejungfrau machen, und hier ist sie nun.

Meine erste kleine Seejungfrau Lara.

She is 19 inches tall from head to tail fin and made from all natural materials.

You can find her now in my Etsy shop.

Sie misst ca 48 cm vom Kopf bis zu ihrer Schwanzflosse und aus natürlichen Materialien gemacht.

Sie ist nun in meinem Etsy Laden zu finden.

So here we are again, another 12 of 12 and can you believe it ?

It's October already!

How fast the time goes buy just shocks me!

Today was Thanksgiving in Canada and Columbus day in the US.
Und hier sind wir nun wieder, ein neues 12 von 12 und könnt ihr es glauben?
Es ist schon Oktober!
Ich bin immer wieder schockiert, wie schnell die Zeit davon rennt !

My Morning glory's are packing it in...Too hot and dry.

I will have to go and collect seeds for next year.

Meine Morning Glory’s haben jetzt genug…. Zu warm und trocken.
Ich muss die Samen sammeln damit wir nächstes Jahr noch mehr davon im Garten haben. :0)

I didn't show you my newest find from the local thrift store yet.

I couldn't believe my eyes... this super Fussball table was only 59$!

The only thing missing was the ball !Well that was easy!!!

My kids ,and us big people , LOVE it!!

Oh , ich hab euch noch gar nicht meinen neusten Fund vom Secondhand Laden gezeigt.
Dieser super tolle Fussballtisch hat nur 59$ gekostet !
Das einzige was zu bemängeln war , war das keine Bälle dabei waren… Na, das war nicht schwer zu korrigieren!
Meine Kinder , und wir Grossen, lieben den Tisch schon!!

These two custom Mini's got done today.

Mein Nähtisch sieht im Moment so aus. Ich habe heute jede menge Teile für neue Eulen ausgeschnitten. Ich kann euch sagen Frottee mach eine Schweinerei wenn man es schnipselt!!

I also decorated my two wreath for fall.

These lizzards are very curious about the process and watched every step.

Ich habe ausserdem meine 2 Kränze herbstlich dekoriert.
Die beiden Echsen haben mir dabei sehr interessiert zugeschaut und jeden Schritt verfolgt.

Sadly I had to use fake leaves since we are in Florida.

No real fall here.... :0(

Leider musste ich unechte Blätter benutzen da wir ja in Florida leben.

Kein richtiger Herbst hier.... :0(

Since it was Thanksgiving for us, you can't have it without apple pie!

My loving husband bakes the pie's in this house.

Hello... I am German! I bake cake and torte.....

His pies are however, fantastic!!
