The next day we went for a good walk in one of the State forests with our dogs.
How did we spend New Years Eve?
Well first of all, it's my husbands birthday, so we have a special breakfast that morning and of course birthday cake in the afternoon.
Later we went out for supper and a movie. This was our first New Years here, so we didn't really know what was going on where. Down at the beaches is a new shopping district and they had a ball drop at midnight and fireworks. Our movie ended 40 min before midnight and all the action happened right in the area around the theater. How perfect was that?
It was quiet cold for Florida standards with 2C but I didn't mind at all.

Hallo Susanne, ich wünsche Dir auch ein wunderschönes neues Jahr mit ganz viel Gesundheit, Glück und das Deine Wünsche in Erfüllung gehen. Der Geburtstagskuchen sieht richtig lecker aus. Auch die anderen Fotos sind sehr, sehr schön. Ihr habt 2 Grad in Florida? So warm?Wir hatten heute Morgen -16 Grad!!!! Tagsüber waren es dann "nur" noch -9 Grad.
