A road trip to Los Angeles Part 5 Universal Studios

During our stay in L.A. we also went to Universal Studios Hollywood for a day.

Waehrend unseres L.A. Besuchs sind wir auch einen Tag im Universal Studios Hollywood gewesen

Its shopping, restaurants ,gift shops ,theme rides and studio tours.

Es besteht aus Laeden, Restaurants,Attraktionen und Studio Tours

This is part of the shopping ,restaurant zone.

Dies ist ein Teil der Einkaufs und Restaurant Zone

Here we went on one of the studio tours.

Hier sind wir dann auf einer der Studiotouren.

You get to see some of the backdrops and streets they use in movies and TV shows.

Man sieht Kulissen und Strassenzuege die in Filmen und Fernsehserien verwendet wurden und werden.

This part showed some of the action used in "The fast and furious "

This is the Bates Motel from Hitchcock's "Psycho"

Dies ist das Bates Motel von Hitchcock's "Psycho"

They have a guy put a body in the trunk of the car and then come towards the bus with a knife....very funny. :0)

Sie haben dort einen Typen der eine "Leiche" in den Kofferraum packt und dann mit einem grossen Messer auf den Bus zukommt....sehr lustig. :0)

They show you some effects , like movie floods and you get to watch

clips of shows where they used it.

Dann werden einem Effekts gezeigt, wie z.B. eine Ueberschwemmung und dann sieht man Ausschnitte von Filmen wo diese Kulisse verwendet wurde.

This one was from "Jaws"

This is the set from "Desperate Housewives" where they filmed

that day and we had to be quiet.....

wurde und wir leise sein mussten

After the studio tour we went to the rides.

Our youngest is a big fan of the Simpsons and loved this part .

The ride is a 3D simulation of a roller coaster ride.

Nach der Studio Tour sind wir zu den anderen Atraktionen ,den Theme Rides.

Unser Juengster ist ein riesen Fan der Simpsons und war natuerlich begeistert.

Der Simpson Ride ist eine Achterbahnsimulation.

They also had rides for Jurassic Park, Terminator that the guys went on.

I wasn't feeling too great at the time and didn't take any pictures.

There are a bunch more rides and attractions, but really there's only so much time.

The tickets are good for a few days, but we didn't have more time anyway.

Es gab ausserdem Rides fuer Jurassic Park und Terminator

die meine Maenner mitgemacht haben.

Mir ging es zu der Zeit nicht so toll und somit hab ich auch keine Bilder machen koennen.

Es gab noch eine Menge andere Attractionen, aber man hat auch nur soviel Zeit alles zu machen. Die Tickets sind fuer mehrere Tage gueltig, aber wir hatten eh nicht mehr Zeit.

So then we checked out the shop at the Terminator ride where they have the Robot and this cool backdrop where you can sit on the motorcycle and get your pictue taken.

Not bad eh?

Dann waren wir im Souvenier laden beim Terminator Ride wo man den Roboter bestaunen kann und sie diese Kulisse haben mit Motorad wo man sich fotografieren lassen kann.

Nicht schlecht , oder?

Well, we all had a great time at the Universal Studios and can only recommend it.

Wir alle hatten einen super Tag in den Universal Studios und koennen es nur empfehlen.
