A day out Part 2/ Ausflug 2.Teil

So here as promised the second part of our day trip.

Hier also wie versprochen der zweite Teil unseres Tagesausflug.

We went to the National Museum for Naval Aviation in Pensacola

Wir sind im National Museum for Naval Aviation in Pensacola gewesen

It has some really cool planes, jets, helicopters,space travel ,aircraft carrier and tons of info about flight and displays about the wars .

Dort kann man sich tolle Flugzeuge, Helicopter, Jets,Raumfahrt, Flugzeugtraeger ansehen und bekommt jede Menge Informationen ueber's fliegen und Militear.

This was a room made up to be a store from about 4o years ago, which had original products from that time on display.

Did you notice the cool cash register?

Dieser Raum war ein Laden von vor 40 Jahren indem man sich original Produkte und Gegenstaende von der Zeit ansehen konnte.

Habt ihr die tolle Kasse gesehen?

The "shop keeper"had some great info for us and was very friendly.

Der"Laden Besitzer" hat uns viele Details zeigen koennen und war sehr freundlich.

I would loved to have the coffee grinder and the scale.

Mensch haette ich diese Kaffeemuehle und Waage gerne gehabt

This room showed items from a kitchen in the 40.

There too were many items I would love to have.....

Dieses Zimmer zeigte Sachen aus einer Kueche in den 40gern aus der ich auch einige Dinge gerne gehabt haette.

After the museum we went to see Fort Barrancas

Nach dem Museum haben wir uns Fort Barrancas angesehen

These brick tunnels looked so cool in the afternoon light.

Diese Ziegeltunnel sahen toll aus im Nachmittaglicht

Outside we spotted a hawk on the flag pole.

Draussen haben wir einen Habicht auf der Fahnenstange sehen.

These booms are deployed to catch any oil that might make make it inland.

Diese sogenannten "Booms"liegen im Wasser um Oel aufzufangen das vielleicht in die Bucht geraet.

We went to Navarre Beach to see if any oil had reached the beach yet, but did not see anything.

Wir sind dann noch auf dem Navarre Strand gefahren um zu sehen ob das Oel hier schon angekommen war, aber wir haben nichts gesehen.

We hope it stays like this for a long time, but soon or later the oil will get this beautiful beach and ours in Panama City too.

Natuerlich hoffen wir das es noch lange so bleibt, aber frueher oder spaeter wird das Oel auch diese wunderbaren Straende und unsere in Panama City erreichen
