Merry Christmas! Frohe Weihnachten!

It is done!

Christmas is on our doorstep and all our baking is finished .

These are White Chocolate Truffles ( not baked of course)

and Zimt Sterne (Cinnamon Stars)

Here another Christmas ornament.

This one with a special meaning for me.

It belonged to my husbands grandma.

She had this large 4"/10cm wood ornament in her dining room window.

I think it hung there all year round.....
Grandma was a sweet , loving person who loved Nature!

She has a special place in my heart! :0)

Today we tie up some loose ends, wrap the last few gifts, shop for the last few missing ingredients for our Christmas dinner tomorrow.

I will make potato salad and Frikadellen (German meat paddies) for tonight.

This is our German tradition.

Then tonight we all watch the Muppet's Christmas Carol.

We just LOVE that movie and it has become part of our tradition!!

...and then it's only one more sleep 'till Christmas!

Will Santa bring me something too? I've been a good puppy, right?????

There is just one thing left to do.
