A day in the yard.

Our rental property has some big Holly and other bushes in the front that badly needed trimming. They are not exactly what I would like in front of the house, but in 3 years we move on, so we just deal with what we have.

2 week ago I bought us a hedge trimmer since working with the big hand shears is very unpractical for this size of bushes. I had some hope that I wouldn't have to do the trimming, but as so often that hope went out the window and today I tackled the issue.

I forgot to take a picture of the before, but believe me it was nasty!

The left side was so over grown , to the edge of the roof and was full of thorny branches.

The Holly bushes are not exactly fun to work with either.

My arms look like I have some kind of illness :0)

What can I say....IT IS DONE! That's all there is to it.

I also planted some containers....what was much more fun.

Now that this is done I can finally go see my sewing machine.

YEAH!!
