After the long weekend...

...there is only one thing to do.

CLEAN!!

Meet my friends.....

I spend half the day getting everything back to "normal". 5 people (4 of which are guys!!) and two shedding dogs can keep you in the cleaning and laundry business for sure!

I had other plans for the day, but at least the house is clean and tidy and now I get to do what I like to do. My plan was to make apple cake today, the German typ that is made on a cookie sheet...

...but when I went grocery shopping, I found prune plums instead!

We all love plum cake with whip cream !!!

So, I'm off to bake now...
