Dogs on the beach

There aren't many beaches in the area where you can bring your dog, but Mexico Beach has one. Yeah!!

We have to drive about 30 minutes, but I'm sure the dogs thank us for it.

They had a great time. So did we.

They can run and explore....

....go in the water

....and chase the ball, at least Gromit does.

Pelicans and other seabirds were sitting on a sandbank, unfazed by the dogs.

We found this dead horseshoe crab on the beach. I would have taken it home, but I'm sure it would smell terrible after a while.
