I hope everyone had a great long weekend with Thanksgiving(Canada) and Columbus Day (USA)!
.......well, at least on this side of the pond!
It's Fall, or at least it should be, but I find it very hard to get into the mood here and Winter is even worst...
It is a little cooler, but not much and the humidity is less. Most trees don't loose their leaves at all. Falling leaves , the chill in the air and the smell of rotting leaves is what I associate with Fall.I guess I have to make due with the few unspectacular signs that we get here in Florida.
Flowers are still blooming and growing all over the place....
We took it easy this weekend.
One of out boys went to Bush Gardens with the CDN youth group for 2 days.
He had a great time! Lot's of rides and cool things to do.
Our oldest has a job and was working and spend time with friends( and girlfriend!)
So we found ourselves with just one kid for most of the weekend. Quiet nice for a change and it gives you a view what the future will look like in just a few years.....
We had friends over for a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday and my husband ,the great cook ,made roast beef with mashed potatoes and acorn squash and carrots.
He also made an apple pie.
See how lucky I am?? Who doesn't love a man that cooks??
He made some butter tarts yesterday and I had to be quick to take a picture before they were all gone....
