I guess we were very lucky!
Fay past us without major force. We got some, at times heavy rain and gusty winds, but it was much, much less then what had been forecasted.
It was quiet interesting to watch the weather radar yesterday. First we were the center of the storm , with a large rain band following behind. We thought , well, that's when the mess will start, but the system moved further up North , while spinning and so we didn't get any of the east part of the storm either.
I'm glad that we didn't need any of the things we had in place for an emergency, but hurricane season is far from over.
It sure is comforting though, to know you are prepared.
