Happy Thanksgiving!

 Today is Thanksgiving in Canada . 

We had our celebration yesterday with my husbands parents who came for a visit.

So as we spend the day preparing and spending time together and having a delicious meal, 

I was thinking how thankful I am .

Heute ist Erntedankfest in Canada.

Wir haben gestern gefeiert da meine Schwiegereltern  hier zu Besuch waren.

Wie wir so den Tag zusammen verbracht haben und in den Vorbereitungen zu einem koestlichen Essen steckten, die Sonne schien und es draussen in der Natur sich so wunderschoen bunt zeigt , dachte ich darueber nach wie dankbar ich bin.

I'm thankful for my family and the love they show me.

I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who makes me strong when I feel weak and full of self doubt, puts up with me and just loves me the way I am.

I'm thankful for my great boys who make me so proud !

I'm thankful for being healthy and able to enjoy life.

I'm thankful for the possibility to be able to live in so many different places and to see all those amazing things we have seen over the years.

So often does life just race by and we forget to take in all the wonderful and beautiful things around us. 

I am also so very thankful for all the friendships I have made over the years in places near and far where I never expected to find true friendship.

Life is good!

Ich bin dankbar fuer meine Familie und die Liebe die sie mir gibt.

Ich bin dankbar fuer meinen wunderbaren Mann der mich stark macht wenn ich mich schwach  fuehle und voller selbstzweifel bin, und der mich so liebt  wie ich bin.

Ich bin dankbar fuer meine grossartigen Soehne die mich so stolz machen.

Ich bin dankbar  dafuer das ich gesund bin und das Leben geniessen kann.

Dankbar dafuer das ich bisher die Moeglichkeit hatte in so vielen tollen Plaetzen gelebt und so unglaublich tolle und wunderschoene Dinge gesehen zu haben.

Wie oft rauscht das Leben nur an einem so vorbei und wir vergessen uns mal nach all den fantastischen Dingen umzusehen.

Ich bin ausserdem so sehr dankbar das ich so viele Freundschaften geschlossen habe und Freunde in Plaetzen gefunden hab wo ich nie mit gerechnet haette.

Das Leben ist gut!
