Fall /Herbst

I love seasons but find it really hard to get into them down here.

Fall and winter are especially difficult.

This is where a nature table/corner comes in handy.

Ich liebe Jahreszeiten aber hier in Florida faellt es mir schwer in Stimmung zu kommen.

Herbst und Winter sind am schlimsten.

Da hilft dann ein(e) JahreszeitenTisch/Ecke .

Dies ist meine Jahreszeitenecke auf dem Kaminsims. Einige Gegenstaende habe ich auf Etsy gekauft. Das Eichhoernchen und den Baum habe ich bei PrettyDreamer gekauft und das schoene Bild stammt von BreezyTulip.

I love apples!

I grew up in an area with lots of orchards near my hometown in Germany and we also lived for years in Meaford/Ontario that is surrounded by orchards. In Meaford we actually got a lot of our apples from the Military Training Range.

It's a big piece of land that had been bought from farmers in 1942.

Old orchards on the land went unattended for all these years and the apples did not get sprayed with all the toxins. They were old apple types that reminded me of apples from Germany.

I wish we could get great apples like that around here.

Ich liebe Aepfel!

Ich bin in der Naehe von Hamburg aufgewachsen wo es viele Obstbauern gibt und natuerlich das Alte Land auf der anderen Seite der Elbe. Das erste Staedchen in dem ich in Canada gelebt habe, Meaford /Ontario war auch von Apfelplantagen umgeben .

In Meaford haben wir unsere meisten Aepfel aus einem Militaeruebungsgebiet geholt.

Das Gebiet wurde 1942 von der Regierung den Bauern abgekauft und somit auch deren Hoefe und Apfelplantagen.Diese Baeume wurden seither sich selbst ueberlassen und nicht gespritzt.

Die Apfelsorten sind alles alte Sorten und haben mich immer and Apfel aus Deutschland erinnert.

Mensch wie gerne ich solche tollen Aepfel hier haette.
